Assalamualaikum Wr.WbFor 3 days ago we prepared materials for the event on Thursday, namely the FITE event which was held at the Poltekpar and we from food production, prepared food there is lunch box and food carnival.
For the Food Carnival we were divided into several groups we
worked with our senior 4th semester those who led each group. my group consists
of 5 people all women, kak yusria, kak daughter, kak linda, eva and me. our
group holds a menu of ice mambo, es teler and slice fruit.
On the first day of our preparation was making Mambo ice, the
ice we made was the taste of green beans. first the green beans are soaked with
water overnight to make the beans more tender. then make green beans with brown
sugar and coconut milk along with pandan leaves, then add sugar and simmer for
a while then add the green beans and boil again until the green beans are
cooked.
We took the insert to cool it so that later it would be easy
for us to insert it into the ice plastic. after it was cold we put the green
beans that had been made into the plastic using a jug or funnel, then tied. we
make 300 mambo ice . then we store the ice in the freezer.
The second day we only made liquid brown sugar for ice teler
later, while there were no other fruits and ingredients available. how to make
liquid brown easy, boil water and add the brown sugar to stir slowly until
liquid brown sugar and add sugar too to make it sweeter and coconut milk then
bring to a boil and to be thickened add cornstarch which has been dissolved
into the liquid sugar and stir until thickens.
On the third day, we began to make gelatine and jelly for the
teler ice and began cutting the fruit for the ice, which was melon, papaya, and
avocado. slice the jelly and then store it in the chiller.
Fourth / Thursday (D-Day), we started arranging plastic bowls
on the working table and then took ingredients for the condiment there are
papaya, melon, avocado gelatin, jelly, cincau and coconut arranged in the bowl
and then stored in a box for us take it to the hall. for the senior fruit slice
we handle it. We also enter mambo ice in the box. by noon we carry items that
we will display in the hall. in the hall there are a stands for the afternoon
menu for lunch and dessert.
In the afternoon of Thursday the activities were also over
and we began to tidy up our belongings in the hall to be returned to the
kitchen. in the kitchen again we clean first then go home.
